VETUS D-Line common-rail engines run smoothly, have a high power and torque, low revolutions and are highly reliable and durable. They are in conformity with the new RCD2 emission regulations. Extremely suitable for power hydraulics on board.These engines have a CAN bus system with a SAEJ1939 protocol but can easily work with NMEA2000 systems on board as well. Supplied as standard with instrumentpanel type MPA34CANBS2 and four flexible enginemounts type LMX210.

These VETUS D-Line engines have the unique VETUS designed water cooled top cover, not only to reduce the heat in the engine room but also to reduce the engine noise of an already quiet engine block. This top cover can be used as a step as well. Otherfeatures added to the D-Line engines are: a smaller air filter in order to save space in the engine room, new exhaust manifold insulation, high output alternator as standard (160 Amps) and a second alternator as an option. When this option is specified, the front belt cover is not fitted. An electric sump pump is fitted as standard.
